Connectors, regionals, and U.S. UCAN network service providers may connect the following entities to the Internet2 network through participation in the U.S. UCAN program: community, vocational or technical colleges, K-12 institutions, healthcare providers, public safety agencies, governmental entities, libraries, museums, or other non-university related educational, cultural, or public institutions within the same state, tribal organizations and related anchors, and any other entity agreed upon in writing by the state’s U.S. UCAN provider and Internet2.

There are currently 43 U.S. UCAN states, plus the District of Columbia, for a total of 44 U.S. UCAN Program Sponsors.
