Connectors and state/regional networking partners participating in the Internet2 Community Anchor Program may connect the following entities to the Internet2 network: community, vocational or technical colleges, K-12 institutions, healthcare providers, public safety agencies, governmental entities, public libraries, museums, or other non-university related educational, cultural, or public institutions within the same state, tribal organizations and related anchors, and any other entity agreed upon in writing by the state’s Community Anchor Program partners and Internet2.

There are currently 44 Internet2 Community Anchor Program states, plus the District of Columbia, for a total of 45 Internet2 Community Anchor Program Sponsors.
