DENVER—April 8, 2014—Internet2 today presented the President’s Leadership Award to Tracy Futhey, Vice President, Information Technology and Chief Information Officer at Duke University; Kevin Morooney, Vice Provost Information Technology and Chief Information Officer at Penn State; and Brent Sweeny, Senior network engineer, Global Research Network Operations Center at Indiana University. The recipients were recognized before more than 800 of the nation’s leading chief information officers and technologists at the 2014 Internet2 Global Summit.
The President's Leadership Award honors individuals within the Internet2 Research and Education community for their exceptional service and dedication to the community, and for efforts far above and beyond what is expected. Through their work, these individuals personally advance the community as a whole.
