Community Engagement Policy Advisory Group Update (August 2013)
The Community Engagement program advisory group [CE-PAG] met in Ann Arbor earlier this month for in-depth overviews and discussions surrounding membership opportunities and challenges, communications and marketing plans, and strategies for community events. The group discussed strategic directions, challenges of state purchasing regulations, and the need to engage university CFOs and procurement departments on board with the Internet2 NET+ Services strategy and direction. The CE-PAG also received a sneak peek at the soon-to-be-implemented Internet2 website redesign, plans for upcoming Annual Meeting 2014 in Denver, and an overview of Internet2 social media efforts. This meeting also provided time to share thoughts and listen to perspectives and advice from the group.
