Campuses Report Savings Through InCommon Certificate Service
More than 120 campuses have subscribed to the InCommon Certificate Service, with many reporting significant annual savings. One large university system reports savings in excess of $300,000, while a number of Carnegie R1 campuses are seeing savings of more than $50,000. The InCommon Certificate Service includes unlimited SSL, EV, client and code signing certificates for one fixed annual fee. The service is a not-for-profit operation and is governed by the Internet2 community.
