Internet2 Statement on Diversity and Inclusion
At Internet2, collaboration is at the heart of everything that we do. Global collaboration and engagement are intrinsic to advancing U.S. research and education. Our community efforts are made possible by involvement from our diverse and committed group of collaborators, including members from higher education, industry, affiliate organizations and federal agencies, state and regional networks, as well as global research and education networks and federations, and partners around the globe. The continuing success of our member organizations depends on the free flow of ideas, information and people, both into the U.S. and out to institutions worldwide.
Like our members and global partners, we are concerned about the U.S. administration’s recent executive order on immigration and how it may impact global research, science and education. We affirm our commitment in continuing to work with our colleagues and collaborators — both at home and abroad — in helping them realize their research, education and service missions. Internet2 does not discriminate based on race, gender, age, sexual orientation, religion, national origin, disability status, veteran status, or political affiliation.
