Navigate TechEX with the Mobile App

The TechEX Mobile App (sponsored by Juniper Networks) is the best way to navigate, schedule and make the most of the meeting in Indy; sort sessions by Track, schedule your time and set reminders, participate in the Sponsor Scavenger Hunt, vote for your favorite company in the Winner’s Circle competition, and connect to others with social media links. Download the app from the Guidebook site or the App Store. If you have used our Mobile App for previous Internet2 meetings, just tap on your icon and update to review the 2014 Technology Exchange.

Nightly Updates on Facebook, Follow on Twitter

To see highlights, photos and program updates throughout the event, Like us on Facebook. We’ll be featuring our Tweetwall again in our General Sessions, as well as in selected Netcast sessions, so watch for your Tweet to appear on the big screen. Not attending? Follow the #TechEX14 hashtag at http://twubs.com/TechEX14 for all the event buzz and chime in if you are watching via Netcast--we’d love to hear from you.

Programming Notes

  • The Full Program is online and on the Mobile App. One note: Bill Snow, VP of Engineering, ON.Lab will be on Tuesday's panel. Unfortunately, Guru Parulkar will not be in attendance.
  • Play the Sponsor Scavenger Hunt and Win! Attendees are invited to use our Mobile App when visiting our Sponsors in the Sponsor Salon during the show. Each sponsor has a unique QR code; scan the codes to complete the Scavenger Hunt phrase and be entered to win an Apple TV or Google Chromecast. Happy Hunting!
  • All Advanced Technology Demonstrations will take place in the Sponsor Salon in Griffin Hall Monday afternoon, Tuesday and Wednesday.

Winner's Circle Event: Monday 5:30pm-6:30pm

Monday evening entertainment will begin with an onstage entrepreneur competition in the White River Ballroom E/F to highlight three local companies who will compete for votes and prizes on stage. Voting will be available via the Mobile App, and by judges' pick. Panel of judges to include Harper Reed. Our live Tweetwall will highlight all the action as it happens.

Lightning Talks: Thursday Morning

Lightning Talks, a series of sub-5-minute talks on a topic of your choice, will be on Thursday morning. To ensure presenters adequate notice that their talk has been selected (and that any slides could be prepared, submitted and posted in time), we are asking for submissions by 5 pm EDT on Tuesday, October 28. Please send talks to jt-lightning-talks@internet2.edu

The selection committee will alert those selected by Wednesday, October 29, giving presenters ample time to prepare and for their submissions to be posted via the online agenda. NOTE: A reminder that all speakers/attendees must be registered to participate. We look forward to seeing you and your unique, thought-provoking, and challenging presentations!

Don't Forget to Sign Up for Game Night!

From 7:30-10:30 pm on Tuesday, a variety of games will be available in Griffin Hall. A cash bar will be stationed inside the Hall and non-alcoholic beverages and fresh popcorn will be provided free of charge.

Plan to come by after dinner and join your fellow attendees for a few hours of conversation and games. If you plan to come, please add your name to this DoodlePoll so we can be sure to have sufficient space and game options for all.
