I'm pleased to announce that the latest Wainhouse Distance Ed & e-Learning Tech Survey is live and contains specific questions for Internet2 members. The survey will explore how you use various collaborative technologies in your educational organization, their benefits, and how you see them being used going forward. This survey constitutes a part of Internet2's collaborative relationship with Wainhouse, and the results will be shared both at an Internet2 Fall Member Meeting session and at an upcoming webinar.

Please visit: http://www.wainhouse.com/Internet2 to complete the survey.  It should take about 15 minutes to complete.  The more respondents we get, the more valuable the results will be!

For completing this survey, respondents will be entered into a drawing for:

  • Five $50 Amazon gift cards and;
  • The grand prize – a Kodak PlaySport Zx3 HD Waterproof Pocket Video Camera (with 8gb memory card).
Also, Wainhouse will send respondents an exclusive subset of the survey findings.

As you may know, the face of campus technologies is rapidly evolving as educators become more comfortable with digital tools and learners seek access to new learning tools.  Many respondents appreciate the ability to get their own questions answered about applications, benefits, and the future of these technologies in education by seeing what others are doing. The 2011 distance education and e-Learning survey covers collaborative technologies such as lecture capture, video and web-based conferencing, virtual worlds, and interactive whiteboards.

Thanks in advance to those of you who may choose to participate in the survey, and good luck to you in the prize drawings!
