Several Internet2 and Ciena engineers have taken over a portion of the hallway at the Crystal City Gateway hotel in Washington DC to show off the new network. We wanted to provide attendees of the 2011 Spring Internet2 Member Meeting with a glimpse of what we're getting ready to install at over 300 locations across the country. That meant diverting the Cincinnati optical node and one of the T-1600 routers to Arlington for a week so attendees can see what we're up to.

We're expecting to have this all readied by 8AM on Monday morning, but it's a work in progress right now. I wanted to share some photographs of the build out.
