The Internet2 wiki ( is moving to a new domain ( on August 6, 2018. Trust and Identity and InCommon working groups and governance groups make extensive use of this wiki space.

This is part of a project to build a new Internet2 Collaboration Platform, which will use a new identity and access management system. If your Identity Provider supports the Research & Scholarship (R&S) category, your transition will be seamless and you need take no action at this time.

The move includes migrating as many accounts as possible. If your record includes complete information (first and last name, email, eduPerson Principal Name), your information and permissions should transition without problem. If your record is incomplete, you will need to register with the new platform after August 6 and will be redirected to an enrollment page the first time you log in.

These two wiki pages have additional information: one for identity provider operators, and one for individuals with read and write access.

This wiki transition is part of a larger project that will allow working group chairs and others to manage resources and permissions. We’re using Grouper and COmanage - both components of the TIER software set - to manage access to the wiki and email lists. We will provide more information about the entire collaboration platform after the wiki transition.
