TIER Adoption Strategies, Collaboration Sessions Highlight TechEx 2018
The 2018 Technology Exchange (TechEx) features sessions for those interested in learning about identity and access management, the InCommon Federation and federated identity, and adopting open-source IAM components. TechEx is October 15-19, 2018, in Orlando, Florida. Anyone interested in InCommon, trust and identity, and related software will have plenty of sessions from which to choose.
The agenda will include experiences from 10 campuses in the Campus Success Program that have been collaborating on adoption and adoption strategies for the TIER software (including packaged versions of Shibboleth, Grouper, COmanage, and midPoint). Attendees will hear about lessons learned, adoption tips, and view software demos.
Other sessions will focus on informed consent, the InCommon Federation and its roadmap for the future, international efforts in the areas of authentication and assurance, and meetings and report-outs of working groups. The week will close with the unconference Advance CAMP, where participants formulate the agenda during the first session of the day, then five break-out sessions each hour to discuss topics of community interest.
Additional information, including the complete program schedule, is available on the TechEx website.
