Pricing Update for NET+ CrashPlan
Internet2 and Code42 are pleased to announce new pricing and an updated agreement for the NET+ CrashPlan program. The decrease in per user pricing is intended to make the program more affordable as universities seek to expand their toolkits to respond to an increasing number of cybersecurity threats.
With the rise of ransomware, there has been an increased interest in services like CrashPlan. My colleagues Nick Lewis, Paul Howell and I recently authored a blog post on the ransomware threat and how security tools like CrashPlan can help. Code42 will also be further engaging with the Internet2 community to provide educational opportunities around protecting data.
Updated pricing and information on how to participate in the NET+ CrashPlan program is available on Internet2's cloud services site. This pricing is initially available to new participants in the program; however, existing participants will be able to work with Code42 and Internet2 to take advantage of the new pricing by signing a new agreement at contract renewal.
