Trust and Identity at the 2016 Internet2 Global Summit

For those attending the 2016 Internet2 Global Summit, there is a full slate of sessions for trust and identity.
 
But first, if you can’t attend, there are a few key sessions available via Netcast at no charge:

  • Tuesday, May 17 at 1:15 pm (CT) – "The Changing Nature of Federations"
  • Tuesday, May 17 at 3 pm (CT) – "TIER Initiative - Community collaboration for the next decade"
  • Wed., May 18 at 3 pm (CT) – "The Center of Trustworthy Scientific Cyberinfrastructure - an NSF Cybersecurity Center of Excellence to Support Research"

Monday, May 16
8 am – noon - InCommon Steering and the TIER Community Investor Council will hold joint meetings (committee members only)

3:00 pm – "Information Security, Governance, and Risk Capability: How do you Measure Up?" – A new EDUCAUSE online service helps to assess and benchmark maturity and technology deployment

4:30 pm – "User Driven Innovation – How much have R&E federations done to address research community requirements"

7:00 pm – Welcome reception at the Museum of Science and Industry
 
Tuesday, May 17
7:15 am - TIER investor meeting (invitation only)

8:45 am – "Fedushare – Bridging national and campus research infrastructure"

Noon – BoF – "MFA for Campus Services"

1:15 pm – "The Changing Nature of Federations" (netcast) - Federations are growing to serve new audiences, are also growing globally, and are growing in terms of technology. What are the challenges posed by this growth and what are the opportunities we have to tackle together?

3:00 pm – "TIER Initiative - Community collaboration for the next decade" (netcast) – An update on the new TIER (Trust and Identity in Education and Research) Program, the first release, and future plans

4:30 pm - "CILogon 2.0 - An integrated identity and access management platform for science"

6:00 pm - "BoF – The InCommon Steward Model" – involving K-12 and community colleges in the federation.

7:30 am – "MACE-Directories BoF"
