Purpose
This 2-day workshop provides a background in VoIP technology. The workshop will begin with a discussion of SIP signaling. Other topics discussed will include, SIP user agent management (telephones), gateway configuration and requirements, network monitoring for VoIP, an overview of NG 9-1-1 (IP based 911), IP trunking and security. The workshop will then conclude with a financial discussion of VoIP.
