Working, Special Interest and Advisory Groups
Development activities of Internet2 are performed in working groups (WGs), special interest groups (SIGs) or advisory groups (AGs). Group members come from Internet2 member institutions and partners. Group support is provided by Internet2 and Internet2 staff.
Note: Group activities are subject to the Internet2 Intellectual Property Framework. To clarify the intellectual property license granted with contributions of software, a signed Contributor License Agreement (individual or company) should be kept on file. Please contact group chairs with questions.
Working Groups
Each WG has a web site describing its charter, goals, milestones, events, current activities and other information. Internet2 community members who are interested in participating in a WG should contact the group's chair. Have an idea for a new WG? Contact Eric Boyd.

Special Interest Groups [back to top]
Special interest groups (SIGs) are formed around common interest areas and members share ideas, insights and even "war stories". They are informal, are open to all members are led by a chairperson and do not typically produce deliverables. Many SIGs meet semi-annually at Internet2 Member Meetings.
