Working Group Roles & Responsibilities: Member
WG members are called upon to play an integral role in important efforts within the Internet2 community. Members of the various WGs come from Internet2 member institutions and partners. Members:
- Participate actively in group process to help ensure that progress is made, milestones are set, and the group operates in a fair manner;
- Regularly attend meetings/sessions;
- Review meeting minutes;
- Accept and complete Action Items in a timely manner;
- Participate in email list discussions;
- Help ensure that the core rule of operation (rough consensus) is achieved;
- Agree to Internet2 Intellectual Property Framework (http://members.internet2.edu/intellectualproperty.html); and
- When requested by chair, indicate in writing whether or not they hold any intellectual property rights that are likely to be used in the project.
