SIGGRAPH 2005 Viewing Streams
The SIGGRAPH 2005 Conference on
computer graphics and interactive techniques takes place 31 July through 4
August 2005 in Los Angeles, California. Live viewing streams of the Access
Grid sessions being held in conjunction with the Emerging Technologies program
at SIGGRAPH are being provided by the Internet2 Commons and Internet2 corporate
member
HaiVision. These sessions
will also be available for viewing at a select number of Access
Grid locations. In addition, significant equipment and software was contributed
by Internet2 corporate sponsor inSORS Integrated
Communications.
The Program
The streams will feature all the Access Grid sessions being held in conjunction
with the Emerging Technologies program at SIGGRAPH. Click

Viewing Options
UNICAST Stream via the Internet2 Commons
MULTICAST MPEG-2 Stream via the Internet2 Commons
The MPEG2 stream will
be driven by new Internet2 corporate member HaiVision
Systems recently
released hai210 encoders and decoders.
Note: Multicast works only if your network supports multicast. Multicast
detection tools include the Internet2 Detective and
the Multicast Technologies tester.
