Hands-On Workshop
Premeeting Preparation
If you would like to use your laptop during the workshop you should
try to complete the following items. If you have difficulty help will
be available at the workshop. At least one person in each group
(table) will need SSH to access the SIP servers that we will be using.
Laptops will also be used for configuring SIP soft phones. Audio
input/output devices will be available - but you may want to bring a
headset/mic if you have one. A limited number of wired network
connections will be available at each table.
Before Thursday morning
- Register your laptop for the Internet2 wireless network in the hotel meeting area.
- Download SSH client if you don't already have one:
- Windows - PuTTY version 0.55 or later?
- Mac - use ssh command
- Unix - use ssh command
Before Friday morning
- Download SIP clients:
