Internet2 is much more than a network. Internet2 membership represents a wide range of research and academic disciplines from over 300 organizations, including leading U.S. universities, corporations, government research agencies, and not-for-profit networking organizations. In addition, the broader Internet2 community comprises international networking organizations representing more than 50 countries, and state educational networks that connect more than 46,000 institutions across the United States.
