InCommon Multifactor Authentication
The InCommon Multifactor Authentication Program provides affordable solutions for various methods of achieving the additional security offered through using additional factors of authentication.
The community has also established a Multifactor Authentication (MFA) "cohortium" with the goal of advancing the use of MFA in higher education. The cohortium unites a committed group of campuses in a focused 15-month effort to help themselves and others to make real progress towards MFA deployments.
Duo Security Program — InCommon and Duo Security offer a site license for faculty/staff/students for phone-based second-factor authentication.
InCommon participation is required for participation in the multifactor program. To subscribe to the Duo second-factor phone-based program, go to www.incommon.org/duo/join.html
