Join Us

For the 16th straight year, Internet2 was actively involved in the technical program, exhibits, and supporting network at SuperComputing. Since 1999, the Internet2 network has provided critical support and connections for SCinet, the event network that supports the most advanced networking demonstrations each year. For this year's SCInet, Internet2 provided 4 x 100G connectivity to support exhibits and demos by over 80 member organizations.

At SC15, Internet2 convened a BoF (in conjunction with GEANT and ESnet) on "Connecting HPC and High Performance Networks for Scientists and Researchers" on Wednesday, November 18 as part of the Technical Program. For more information, see: http://sc15.supercomputing.org/schedule/event_detail?evid=bof189

Speakers for this event, in Booth #843 (directly across from the main SCinet displays), included Drs. James Cuff (Harvard) and Kirk Jordon (IBM Research), Steve Tuecke (Globus Online) and Dave Hartzell (NOAA). These community presentations were supplemented by working group meetings and other ‘meet and greet’ events. Thanks to all who were able to join us onsite!
