This full-day meeting will bring together FCC Rural Health Care Pilot Program (RHCPP) participants and organizations such as Internet2 Connectors that intend to participate in connecting the participants to the Internet2 Network. The workshop is being organized in response to requests by participants in the weekly calls supported by the Internet2 Health Network Initiative. This workshop will provide FCC RHCPP participants, Internet2 Connectors, and others the opportunity to learn about and discuss issues around implementing broadband networking for health care. The agenda will focus on the requirements and opportunities presented by the FCC’s recently announced Rural Health Care Pilot Program awards. Invited speakers include representatives from the FCC , NIH, HHS, and the VA. |
